Ingredients:
Nonstick cooking spray
1 (6-ounce) can of tuna
2 cups cooked whole wheat noodles
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
 
White sauce
2 teaspoons butter
2 teaspoons flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1¼ cups lowfat or nonfat milk

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray an oven-proof casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Drain tuna (allow to be chunky). Arrange in bottom of casserole dish.
3. Add peas and cooked noodles.
3. Make white sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly; boil and stir 1 minute
4. Pour white sauce over the top of the peas and noodles. Do not stir.
5. Add bread crumbs.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
